Peru, Ill. - Starting in 2026, Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp home games at Schweickert Stadium will now begin at 6:35 PM on Monday through Saturday, instead of the previously used 7:05 PM start time. Sunday games and doubleheaders will now begin at 4:35 PM, instead of the recently used 4:05 PM start time. Gates will open to the public one hour before the scheduled start time, at 5:30 PM or 3:30 PM.

Pistol Shrimp home games at Schweickert Stadium are non-ticketed events with free general admission courtesy of the team's continued partnership with the City of Peru. The 2026 Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp schedule is anticipated to be released by the Prospect League in the coming weeks. The schedule will be available at pistolshrimpbaseball.com and on social media @pistolshrimpbaseball.
